Kain Hunting 1
On the 24th December 2016, we managed to meet one of the important group of people – My Bridesmaids. First and foremost, I would like to thank them all for coming all the way down, help me out with choosing the kain and most importantly getting to know one another, especially keeping Aisyah in the loop. They were the nicest bunch of girlfriends who are willing to help me out through the process of planning our wedding. Not forgetting how swift they all are in making decisions. I had a vision in mind – a certain colour for Irman’s family, my family, bridesmaids and groomsmen. I shared this vision in mind with them prior to meeting them (so that we are all on the same page). But once there, I fell in love with a certain colour. Lucky enough, Kak Siti from Warna (the name of the shop we bought all our kain from) was very helpful and suggested many colour combi. To the point that I liked every roll of kain she pulled out. In the end, we decided for a colour that would be able to match each and everyone of us.

After moving from one shop to another, we find ourselves going back to the same shop! But the songket is not available for all the bridesmaids. So, we had to order and wait for next shipment. Groomsmen settled! Bridesmaids – waiting for the songket bottom to arrive SG! As for Nadz’s and Irman’s family – we will hunt for kain in Jan/Feb 2017. We would love to get this done, because more things has to be completed in the next few months! For now, we love the colour combi!
Next up, collecting home keys and our pre-wedding photoshoot! Can’t wait 🙂
